RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -127
RESOLUTION APPROVING VOID AND REISSUE OF
CLAIM CHECKS
WHEREAS, an error in the check date for Claim Numbers 22613 through 22626 and
Claim. Numbers 22628 through 22667 in the amount of $102,484.40 was discovered;
WHEREAS, Claim .Number 22627 was previously voided and resolved by the Lake
Elmo City Council;
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Administrator were dutifully notified of the check
date error immediately upon discovery by the Finance Director;
WHEREAS, only one check had been fully executed and that check was retrieved;
WHEREAS, the Finance Director voided all checks in the batch and reissued new checks
with the correct check date;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Administrator reviewed the void check and check
reissue reports before executing the replacement checks and they are attached hereto;
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Claim Numbers 22671 through 22724 in the amount of
$102,484.40 were issued as replacement checks for the Claims listed above, bearing the correct
check date, and are hereby approved.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 19`x' day of November, 2002.
