City of Lake Elmo <br />Washington County, Minnesota <br />Resolution No. 2002 -118 <br />A RESOLUTION FOR APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL <br />FOR MATTERS RELATED TO THE <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL {COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the City Administrator and City Attorney to <br />solicit the interest of law firms with the expertise and experience required to represent the City in <br />matters related to the Metropolitan Council's actions regarding Lake Elmo Comprehensive Plan, <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, at a workshop on October 8, 2002, the Lake Elmo City Council interviewed <br />three law firms that have interest in providing services to the City in matters related to the Lake <br />Elmo Comprehensive Plan and the Metropolitan Council, and; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Dick Nowlin of the Law Firm of <br />Lindquist & Vennum, P.L.L.P., be appointed as Special Counsel to represent the City of Lake <br />Elmo in legal matters relating to the Metropolitan Council's actions regarding the Lake Elmo <br />Comprehensive Plan by the terms in that firm's letter to the City dated September 26, 2002. <br />ADOPTER, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 150' day of October, 2002. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor Hunt <br />ATTEST: <br />MakK1 e er, Cit�Administrator <br />
