RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -103
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 2002 -091,
2002 -094 SETTING THE TRUTH IN TAXATION
PUBLIC HEARING DATES FOR 2003 TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the City is required to set public hearing dates for the truth in
taxation hearing on the 2003 budget and tax levy; and
WHEREAS, Washington County neglected to provide the City a calendar with
dates already reserved for Truth In Taxation Public Hearings by Washington County and
the School Districts;
WHEREAS, the date of December 3, 2002 in Resolution No. 2002 -094 did
conflict with a date set for the truth in taxation hearing for Washington County; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo
has set Friday, December 6, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. as the initial truth in taxation public
hearing date and December 19, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. as the continuation date for the truth
and taxation public hearing, if necessary, and the final adoption of the levy and budget.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the lst day of October, 2002.
