RESOLUTION NO. 2002-084
A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORIZATION TO ISSUE CHECKS
PRIOR TO COUNCIL ADOPTION OF CLAIMS
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo is required to make statutory payments
related to payroll,
WHEREAS, these payments include federal and state taxes, withholding for child
support, and employee contributions to the employee's deferred compensation.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Finance Director is hereby
authorized, to:
1. Release tax payments from payroll earnings to the IRS and Department of
Revenue prior to Council Resolution adoption of claims
2. Release pass - through payments for ICMA (deferred compensation) and child
support prior to Council Resolution adoption of claims
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 3`d day of September, 2002.
