RESOLUTION 2002-003
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS
FOR PUMP HOUSE #2
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Feasibility Report for the Old Village Well and Water System
Improvements dated November 16, 1999, the City Council ordered the preparation of plans and
specifications for Pump House No. 2, and such plans and specifications have been presented to the to the
City Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO,
MINNESOTA:
I. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made apart hereof, are hereby
approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction
Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work
to be done shall state that bids will be opened and considered b the Council

2002, in the council chambers of the city hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check
payable to the clerk for 5% of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL this 15n' day of January, 2002.
