WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2003 Crack Sealing
Contract, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Northwest Asphalt Maintenance Inc. $ 6,828.00
Asphalt Surface Technoligies Corp. $11,521.00
Bergman Companies $11,740.00
AND WHEREAS, Northwest Asphalt Maintenance Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder.
f THERFORE, RESOLVED ,
LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA-
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contact with Northwest Asphalt Maintenance Inc. in the name of the City of
Lake Elmo for the 2003 Crack Seal Contract, according to the plan and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the off>ce
of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contact
has been signed.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 15 "i day of April, 2003.
