RESOLUTION NO. 2003-037
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR EXTERIOR WALL REPAIRS FOR
FIRE STATION NO.2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for exterior wall repairs for Fire
Station No. 2, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

AND WHEREAS, Acme Tuckpointing Co. is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE
ELMO, MINNESOTA:
The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Acme Tuckpointing Co., for their base bid of $35,500, Alternate 1 of
$1,590 and Alternate 2 of $450 for a total bid of $37,540, in the name of the City
of Lake Elmo, according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 6th day of May, 2003.
