CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -067 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for grading and trail <br />improvements for Ridge Park, a bid was received, opened, and tabulated according to Iaw, <br />and the following bid was received complying with the advertisement. <br />Contractor Base Bid <br />Hoffman and McNamara Co. $45,003.50 <br />Engineer's Estimate $49,687.50 <br />AND WHEREAS, Hoffman and McNamara Co. is the only responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE <br />ELMO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Hoffman and McNamara Co., for their base bid of $45,003.50, in the name <br />of the City of Lake Elmo for grading and trail improvements for Ridge Park, <br />according to the plans and specifications; therefore, approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 5th day of August, 2003. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Charles E.
