CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -078 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF 10TH STREET LANE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo received a request from Dave Sorenson to <br />vacate the portion of IOtt' Street Lane, which is all within the plat of Whistling Valley. <br />WHEREAS, a Hearing was held before the Lake Elmo City Council at a regular <br />meeting thereof at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in the Lake Elmo City <br />Hall pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statute 412.851; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council has determined that this portion of 1 Otn <br />Street Lane no longer serves a public purpose based on the following reason: <br />1. The majority of the existing 10t" Street Lane North serves no residents today <br />and will be abandoned and replaced by the Whistling Valley internal streets. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following street segment is <br />hereby vacated: <br />That part of 10h Street Lane north lying within'the west half of the Southeast <br />Quarter of Section 27, Township 29, Range 21, Washington County, Mumesota, <br />City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator is directed to <br />file a certified copy of his Resolution with the Washington County Recorder. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Lake Elmo has executed this Resolution <br />by its authorized officers as indicated below on this 16t" day of September, 2003. <br />APPROVED BY: CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />By: •-— Sri ,� <br />Lee Hunt, Its: Mayor <br />ATTESTED BY: <br />By: 0"9D <br />Charles E.
