RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -078
A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF 10TH STREET LANE
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo received a request from Dave Sorenson to
vacate the portion of IOtt' Street Lane, which is all within the plat of Whistling Valley.
WHEREAS, a Hearing was held before the Lake Elmo City Council at a regular
meeting thereof at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in the Lake Elmo City
Hall pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statute 412.851; and
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council has determined that this portion of 1 Otn
Street Lane no longer serves a public purpose based on the following reason:
1. The majority of the existing 10t" Street Lane North serves no residents today
and will be abandoned and replaced by the Whistling Valley internal streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following street segment is
hereby vacated:
That part of 10h Street Lane north lying within'the west half of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 27, Township 29, Range 21, Washington County, Mumesota,
City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator is directed to
file a certified copy of his Resolution with the Washington County Recorder.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Lake Elmo has executed this Resolution
by its authorized officers as indicated below on this 16t" day of September, 2003.
