RESOLUTION. NO. 2004-064
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO ERECT IRIS AVENUE NORTH SIGNS
ON STATE HIGHWAY 5
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has received a request to erect new Iris
Avenue North Street signs facing westbound traffic and eastbound traffic on State
Highway 5;
WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 4, 2004, the Council reviewed the request
for the new Iris Avenue North street signs on the basis these signs will alert motorists of
the entrance to the Wildflower Shore's residential development.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake Elmo City Council
requests MnDOT to erect two large Iris Avenue North street signs; one sign facing
westbound traffic on State Highway 5 and the other facing eastbound traffic on State
Highway 5.
