CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -139 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE 2006 CDBG APPLICATION <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council has authorized and directed the City's <br />Community Improvement Commission to review priorities for Lake Elmo's Community <br />Development Block Grant strategy, and make its recommendations to the City Council <br />regarding the content of CDBG Grant Applications; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Community Improvement Commission has reviewed the <br />priorities for application of CDBG funds, and provided its unanimous recommendation to <br />the City Council to apply for CDBG Block Grant funding for a continuation of the <br />Cimarron Neighborhood Gas Service Rehabilitation Project. <br />WHEREAS, Phase I of the Cimarron Neighborhood Gas Service Rehabilitation <br />Project has been well received by the Cimarron homeowners; these additional funds will <br />provide remediation for a larger percentage of qualifying homeowners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council concurs in the <br />recommendation of the Community Improvement Commission and authorizes and <br />directs the City Administrator to prepare and submit the 2006 CDBG Application to <br />Washington County as continuation of the Cimarron Gas Service Rehabilitation Project <br />in the amount of $80,0000 responsive to this Resolution of the City Council. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on December 6,,- 2005. <br />Dean A.
