WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council wishes to add two (2) alternate member
positions to the ad hoc Lake Elmo Community Improvement Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake Elmo City Council
hereby amends Sections 2 and 3 of Resolution 2003-064 to read as follows:
2. Members. The Commission shall be comprised of seven (7) regular
members and two (2) alternate members, who shall be appointed by a
majority vote of the Lake Elmo City Council. The Commission shall
select a chairperson from among its regular membership. Alternate
members may vote on matters which come before the Commission in the
absence of regular members.
3. Term. The Commission shall continue until terminated by City Council
resolution, and regular members and alternate members of the
Commission shall serve at the will and consent of the City Council but
shall normally be appointed for terms of two (2) years.

county, personally appeared Dean Johnston and Martin Rafferty, to me known to be
respectively the Mayor and City Administrator of Lake Elmo, and they executed the
foregoing instrument and acknowledged the same by authority of and on behalf of the
