WASHINGTON COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-054
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING REAL ESTATE DONATION FROM THE 3M COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has identified possible sites for the
construction of a Lake Elmo City water tower and public works facility (the
"Tower /Facility Site"); and
WHEREAS, an approximate 70484 acre site owned by The 3M Company, Located
in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of State Trunk Highway 5 and
Washington County Road 13 in the City of Lake Elmo has been identified as the
preferred site; and
WHEREAS, The 3M Company has offered to donate to Tower /Facility Site and an
access easement to the City pursuant to the terms of a draft of the Donation
Agreement and Declaration of Easements (the "Land Transfer Documents") attached
as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Lake Elmo City Council hereby
accepts the donation of the Tower/Facility Site from The 3M Company; expresses its

sincere thanks and appreciation to The 3M Company for its generou's donation- and
authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the Land Transfer Documents
after final review and approval of such documents by the City's attorney and by legal
counsel for The 3M Company.
