RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -144
A RESOLU TION RENAMING
KINDRED AVENUE NORTH TO KELVIN AVENUE NORTH
WITHIN THE PLAT OF RIDDEN MEADOWS OF LAKE ELMO
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo previously named a platted roadway as
Kindred Avenue North within its jurisdiction which is located within Section 2,
Township 29 North, Range 21 West; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo desires to rename that portion of Kindred
Avenue North. to Kelvin Avenue North, and wants to ensure that all local jurisdictions are
aware of the change and also wants to ensure that the new name is placed in the 9 -1 -1
system; and
WHEREAS, a Resolution is necessary to change the name of a street, and the
information and the Resolution must be forwarded to the Washington County Surveyor's
Office in order to effectuate the change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Lake Elmo does hereby approve and accept that Kindred Avenue North which lies in
those portions of Section 2 within the City of Lake Elmo as identified within the Plat of
HIDDEN MEADOWS OF LAKE ELMO is hereby renamed to Kelvin Avenue North.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall provide a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Washington County Surveyor's Office and any other
department within Washington County to ensure that the name is placed within the
records of Washington County and the 9 -1 -1 Emergency System.
