CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-106 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR THE <br />NORTHERN WATER MAIN EXTENSION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the NORTHERN WATER <br />MAIN EXTENSION PROJECT were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, <br />and the attached bids were received complying with the advertisement. <br />AND WHEREAS, G.M. CONTRACTING, INC. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE <br />ELMO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with G.M. Contracting in the amount of $411,812.68, in the name of the City of <br />Lake Elmo for the Northern Water Main Extension Project according to the plans <br />and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the <br />office of the city clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo QX Council this 3rd da)ro-fOe� Ober, 2006. <br />Dean A.
