WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA.
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE TRUTH IN TAXATION
PUBLIC HEARING DATES FOR 2006 TAX LE17Y
WHEREAS, the City is required to set public hearing dates for the truth in
taxation hearing on the 2007 budget and tax levy; and
WHEREAS, these dates cannot conflict with those dates for school districts and
other taxing districts within the City of Lake Elmo or Washington County; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to set dates for the initial truth in taxation hearing
date, and a proposed continuation hearing date should one be necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo
has set December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. as the initial truth in taxation public hearing date
and December 11, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. as the continuation date for the truth and taxation
public hearing, if necessary, for the final adoption of the levy and budget.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 5`h day of September, 2006.
