CITI' OF LAKE ELMO
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-071
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A MASTED PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE
CARMELITE MONASTERY TO ALLOW AN ADDITIONAL ACCESSORY
STRUCTURE AT 8249 DEMONTREVILLE TRAIL
WHEREAS, Reverend John Burns has requested a Master Plan Amendment at
8249 Demontreville Trail to allow a 36' by 42' accessory structure in the PF zoning
district.
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on
September 24, 2007, and reviewed and recommended approval of the Master Plan
Amendment to allow an additional accessory building based on the following findings:
1. Given the size of the property and the distance to adjacent neighbors, the
impacts to neighbors would be minimal.
2. The request for an additional storage and work space may be reasonable given
the use of the property.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lake Elmo City Council
hereby approves a Master Plan Amendment at 8249 Demontreville Trail to allow an
accessory building, based on the Findings and subject to the following conditions:
1. The proposed structure must meet applicable setback requirements.
2. The septic system for the proposed structure would need to meet all applicable
requirements.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on th n f October, 2007.
F
Dean A. Johnston, %%iayor
ATTEST:
Susan Hoyt, City Administrator
