RESOLUTION NO. 2007-045
WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 97 -193,
an ordinance to amend the city's official zoning map to rezone properties along 1 -94 and within the
Village area into new holding zoning districts; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance is lengthy; and
WHERE AS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and
summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and
WHERE AS, the city council believes that the following surm -nary would clearly inform the
public of the intent and effect of the ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE D by the city council of the city of Lake Elmo,
that the city administrator shall cause the following surnmary of Ordinance No. 97 -193 to be
published in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance:
Public Notice
The City Council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 97 -193. The ordinance
amends the City's official zoning map by placing multiple parcels to the south of I& Street and
within the Village area into one of the following holding zoning districts: HD -A -BP, HD -A -SRD,
HD- GB -BP, HD -GB -C, HD -GB -SRD, HD- R3 -URD, HD- RE -LB, HD -RE -SRD, HD -RR -RAD,
HD- RR -BP, HD- RR -LB, HD -RR -SRD, HD -RI -RAD, HD -RI-SRD, VR -A, VR -GB, VR -Rl, VR-
RR. A map depicting all rezoned properties and the new zoning districts•Is available for inspection
at Lake Elmo city hall during regular business hours. rj J
