RESOLUTION NO 2008-056 <br />WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08 -010, <br />an ordinance to amend the requirements for non- agricultural low impacts uses; and <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance is lengthy; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and <br />summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the <br />public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />MOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Lake Elmo, <br />that the city administrator shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 08 -010 to be <br />published in the official newspaper in Iieu of the entire ordinance: <br />Public Notice <br />The City Council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08 -010. The ordinance <br />amends the definition for the terra "non - agricultural low impact" to eliminate an exception related <br />to the parking of semi -truck trailers and adds a new definition for "bus /truck terminal ". The <br />Ordinance also amends the zoning district standards to allow a bus /truck terminal as an interim use <br />(non - agricultural low impact use) in the HD -A -BP Agriculture Holding District but to prohibit such <br />a use as a non - agricultural low impact use in the A- Agriculture Districts. <br />The full text of Ordinance No. 08 -010 is available for inspection a r, e Elmo) city hall during <br />regular business hours. <br />A9 <br />Mayor Dean.
