RESOLUTION NO. 2008-005
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
FOR THE TABLYN PARK/LAKE EL MO HEIGHTS
WATER MAIN EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City on June 6,
2006, Park Construction Company has satisfactorily completed the Tablyn
Park/Lake Elmo Heights Watermain Extension Project in accordance with such
contract; and
WHEREAS, the one-year Warranty for the watermain improvements and
street reconstruction began on August 17, 2007, and will end on August 17,
2008, and a one-year Warranty inspection of these items will be completed in
July, 2008, and the contractor will be required to repair or replace, as directed by
the City, any work or materials that are found to be defective, at the Contractor's
sole cost and expense; and
WHEREAS, the one-year Warranty for all other improvements began on
October 29, 2007, and will end on October 29, 2008, and a one-year Warranty
inspection of these items will be completed in September, 2008; and the
contractor will be required to repair or replace, as directed by the City, any work
or materials that are found to be defective, at the Contractor's sole cost and
expense.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the work completed under said
contract is hereby accepted and approved, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator and Mayor are
hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final payment on such contract,
taking the contractor's receipt in full.
