RESOLUTION NO. 2008-003
RESOLUTION AUTHOIUZINC PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 08 -001 BY TI'T'LE AND SUMM- R
WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08 -001,
an ordinance to rezone various parcels within the City of Lake Elmo; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance includes maps; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and
summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and
WHEREAS, the city council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the
public of the intent and effect of the ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Lake Elmo,
that the city administrator shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 08 -001 to be
published in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance:
. Public Notice
The City Council of the city of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08 -001. The ordinance
rezones four parcels within the City.
• The Rockpoint Church property (PID 02- 029 - 21-21 -0003) is rezoned from Rural
Residential (RR) to Public Facilities (PF) in accordance with past Iand use decisions and the
comprehensive plan.
• Two (2) city owned parcels on Jamica Ave N. and 42"d Street (commonly known as Lake
Jane Hills Park; PIDs 09- 029 -21 -44 -0001 and 09- 029 -21 -44 -0003) are rezoned from One
Family Residential (R1) to Public Facilities (PF) per their guidance in the comprehensive
plan.
• The property at 11530 Hudson Boulevard (PID 36- 029 -2143 -0001) is rezoned from
Agricultural (A) to the Agricultural Business Park Holding District (HD -A -BP) in
accordance with the future land use designation for this property established by the
comprehensive plan.
The full text and maps that make up Ordinance No. 08 -001 is available for
city hall during regular business hours.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Lake Elmo that the city
administrator keep a copy of the ordinance in her office at city hall for public inspection and that she
post a full copy of the ordinance in a public place within the city.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Park
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Johnston and Council Members DeLapp, Johnson, Park and Smith
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
