WHEREAS, the City Council, as the Responsible Governmental Unit, authorized
the preparation of the Lake Elmo Village Area Alternative Urban Areawide Review
(AUAR) on April 1, 2008 with Resolution 2008-018; and
WHEREAS, the City prepared the Draft AUAR and Mitigation Plan document
and the City Council authorized distribution of it for public comment on November 18,
2008; and,
WHEREAS, the City received comments, prepared responses to comments and
prepared the Final AUAR and Mitigation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized distribution of the Final AUAR for
public comment on March 17, 2009; and
WHEREAS, no objections were filed by State agencies or the Metropolitan
Council; and
WHEREAS, the entire process has been conducted in accordance with Minnesota
Rules Chapter 4410.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council adopts the
Lake Elmo Village Area Final Alternative Urban Areawide Review and Mitigation Plan.
Passed and duly adopted this 5th day of May 2009 by the City Council of the City
Elmo, Minnesota.
