CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO 2010-021 <br />WHEREAS, the plans for the Trunk Highway No. 5 Roundabout Improvements have been <br />completed for the intersection of Trunk Highway 5 and Jamaca AvelStillwater Boulevard to <br />address severe right angle crashes, <br />WHEREAS, the design has been approved by the City Council on April 6, 2010 and the City <br />Engineer was directed to sign the plans on beha f of the City, <br />WHEREAS, a Cooperative Construction Agreement with the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation has been prepared by the State of Minnesota and reviewed by City staff to <br />address the cost participation and ongoing maintenance provisions associated with the <br />improvements, <br />1. That the City of Lake Elmo enter into MnID ®T Agreement No. 96514 with the State of <br />Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes: <br />To provide for payment by the City to the State of the City's share of the costs of the <br />roundabout construction and other associated construction to be performed upon, along <br />and adjacent to Jamaca Avenue up to the outer limits of the Trunk Highway No. 5 <br />Roundabout within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 8214 -145 (T.H. 5- <br />045), State Project No. 082 -606 -008, State Project No. 206 -103 -002 and Federal Project <br />No. HSIP 8210 (203). <br />2.
