FORBOUNDARYCHANGE
RESOLUTION NO. 2010-020
A Resolution by the City of Lake Elmo concurring with the petition to add or
transfer territory to the South Washington Watershed District.
1. The City of Lake Elmo is a statutory or home rule charter city with
jurisdiction over area wholly or partially within the South Washington
Watershed District.
2. That the Boundary Change Petition prepared by the South Washington
Watershed District has been reviewed by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elmo, and subject to the terms and conditions of paragraph 4 (a-i) of said
Petition, the City of Lake Elmo concurs with said Petition.
3. However, the City of Lake Elmo notes its concern with the now dejure
appointment of two of five District Managers from the City of Woodbury, and
the impact this action will have on the potential for future appointments to the
District Board from other areas of the District.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elmo is in concurrence with the Boundary Change Petition of the South Washington
Watershed District to be submitted to the Board of Water and. Soil Resources.
