AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
16021070A WIDTH OF DRIVEWAY IN THE
RESIDENTIAL ESTATES (RE) ZONING DIS-
TRICT, AND SECTION 1602.0701 DISTANCE
FROM DRIVEWAY TO SIDE LOT LINE IN
RESIDENTIAL ESTATES ZONING ORDINANCE
The Lake Elmo City Council hereby ordains
that Sections 1602.070A and 1602.0701 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
1602.070A
A. WIDTH: The maximum width of any
driveway and curb cut shall be twenty-four (24) feet, except that in the Residential Estates (RE)
zoning district, the maximum width at a lot line
shall betwelve (12) feetand the maximum width at
the public street shall be eighteen (18) feet.

I. DISTANCE FROM DRIVEWAYSTO SIDE
LOT LINE: A driveway must beat least five (5) feet
from any side lot line, except that in the ResidentialEstates (RE) zoning district, a driveway must beat
least ten (10) feet from any side lot line.
EFI ECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be
effectFr the day following its publication. DOPTION DATE: Passed by the City
Council of the City of Lake Elmo the 6th day of
August, 1991.
