RESOLUTION NO. 2012-01.1

WHEREAS, pursuant a resolution of'the City Council adopted the 81h day of February, 2012,
the Council ordered a hearing on Improvement ,for the DeMontreville Highlands Area Street
Improvements, and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given,
and the hearing was held thereon on the 6th day of March, 2012, at which all persons desiring to
be heard were given the opportunity to be heard thereon.
WHEREAS, the feasibility report states that the project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED,
I. Such improvement is deemed necessary,- cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the
Feasibility Report,
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the
81h day of'February, 2012.
3, The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The
engineer shall oversee the preparation of the Plans and Specificalions for the making of
such improvement.
4. The City Engineer shall retain the services of a consulting engineering firm to assist,
where needed, to prepare Plans and Specifications for the making of such improvement,
and to assist the City Engineer during the construction phase of the improvement as
requested.
5. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the
improvemenl from the proceeds of'tax exempt bonds.
