A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STA'T'E AID STREETS
WIIEREA$ pursuant to MN Statute 163. 11, Washington County has transferred all that part of
County Road 13B/DeMontreville Trail between CSAH 35 and Trunk Highway 36 to the City of
Lake Elmo; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo agrees to the jurisdictional transfer of County Road
13B/DeMontreville Trail pursuant to the Agreement far the Transfer of County Road
13BIDeMontreville Trail, dated April 19, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo agrees that all conditions of the Transfer Agreement have
been met by Washington County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo is requesting that all that part of DeMontreville Trail,
between CSAH 35 and Trunk Highway 36, be designated a Municipal State Aid Street under the
provisions of'Alinnesota Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo that
the Dc 11ontreville Trail, between CSAH 35 and Trunk Highway 36, be and hereby is,
established located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street subject to the approval of the
Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for
consideration, and upon approval of the designation of said roads or portion thereof,' that same
he constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State .Aid Street of the City of Lake
Elmo, to be numbered and known as (to be provided by the Office of State Aid),
