RESOLUTION NO. 2015-51
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE
WATER SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT FROM THE
STATE OF MINNESOTA CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT APPROPRIATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elmo act as the legal sponsor for projects provided by
Laws 2015, First Special Session chapter 5, article 3, section 18, subdivision 10 entitled LAKE ELMO —
WATER SUPPLY.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elmo has the legal authority to receive
financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate project
administration; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elmo has not violated any Federal, State or
local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or
coi rapt practice; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its development proposal by the state, the
City of Lake Elmo may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above -referenced
projects, and that the City of Lake Elmo certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and
regulation as stated in all contract agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Clerk, are hereby authorized to
execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the projects on behalf of the City of Lake Elmo.
