CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />"4 A HIN TON COUNTY <br />STATE; OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-22 <br />RESOLUTION N APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT 1014 <br />WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY FOR THE COUNTY TATE AID <br />HIGHWAY 15 NINE AVENUE) PHASE 1 IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the County intends to construct an improvement project on both County State Aid <br />Highway (CSAH) 10 and County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 15 in the City of Lake Elmo, hereinafter` <br />referred to as the "Project"; and <br />WHEREAS, items included in the construction contract require City cost participation in <br />accordance with "Washington County Cost Participation Policy #8001 for Cooperative Highway <br />Improvement Projects"; and <br />VMEREAS, the County desires to use State Aid, bonds and local funds for these improvements; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a cooperative effort between the City and County is the appropriate method to <br />facilitate the construction of these transportation improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, this Agreement is made pursuant to statutory authority contained in Minnesota <br />Statute 1 2,17 sub.l and Minnesota Statute 471.59. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, <br />1, That Cooperative Agreement 10144 between the City of Lake Elmo and Washington: County is <br />hereby approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized execute the <br />agreement on Behalf of the City of Lake Elmo. <br />ADOPTED BY THE LAKE;ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE FIFTH DAY OF APRIL, 2016. <br />CITE' F LADE EL11'I+C <br />�w <br />may' £, <br />W ike Pearson <br />Mayor <br />(Steal) <br />ATTEST: <br />Julie Johnso�z <br />`sty Clerk <br />Resolution No. 201 - 1 <br />
