AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAKE ELMO CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING
A DEFINITION FOR NET DENSI-V
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby ordains that Title 11
General Provisions; Chapter 11: General Code Provisions, is hereby amended by
�dding the following definition:
Net Density: The number ofhousing units divided bvthe amount nfnet developable land. Net
developable land does not include water bodies (including wetlands and takes, but not sbormvvmLcr
ponds), parks and open space (only ifowned bvthe City and available for public use), arterial right
of way, and other land reserved for future development or not developable according to city
ordinances (i.e. steep slopes orconservation areas).
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
adoption and publication in the official newspaper of the City of Lake Elmo.
SECTION 3. Adoption Date. This Ordinance 08-110 was adopted on this 20th day of
May 2014, by a vote of --EAyes and C3 Nays.
