ORDINANCE NO. 97-200
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO COMPOSITION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
The Lake Elmo City Council ordains that Section 210.030 of the City Code is amended to
read as follows:
210.030 Composition
The Planning Commission shall consist of nine (9) voting members and two (2) non-
voting alternate members. The voting members shall be appointed for a three (3) year
term so that only one-third of the appointments will expire on December 31 of each year.
Voting members may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms. Appointment to an
additional term(s) will be considered with the available applicant pool. Alternate
members shall be appointed to serve until there is a vacancy on the Planning
Commission. The City Council shall appoint a first alternate and a second alternate who
shall become voting members in the order of their appointment upon a vacancy on the
commission.
ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the Lake Elmo City Council on the 51h day of
November, 2007.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be effective the day following its
publication.
