AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150 OF THE
LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDITION OF THE
FOLLOWING DEFINITION FOR "BUILDING HEIGHT"
Section 1. Amendment: Section 150, "Definitions"; of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code is
amended to include the following; to wit:
Building Height: The vertical distance from the average of the highest and lowest
point of grade for that portion of the lot covered by building to the highest point of
the roof for flat roofs; to the roof deck line of mansard roofs; and, to the mean height
between eaves and ridge for gable, hip and gambrel roofs.
Section 2. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and
publication according to law.
