CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 9759 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150 ADDING DEFINTIONS <br />RELATED TO LOW IMAPCT AG USE <br />Section 1. Amendment: The 1997 Lake Elmo Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the following <br />defmitions to Section 150. <br />SMALL ENGINE REPAIR: The tune-up, winterizing, rebuilding, and general repair of internal <br />combustion engines of 24 rated horsepower or less; together with repairs and replacement of mechanical <br />components of the machines or tools powered by such engines. Including, but not limited to lawn mowers, <br />snow blowers, garden tillers, chain saws, and pumps. Specifically excluding snowmobiles, ATV's, <br />motorcycles, and personal watercraft. Retail or wholesale sales of any product are specifically excluded. <br />AGRICULTURAL MUSEUMS: The keeping, restoration, maintenance and display of the structures, <br />tools and equipment utilized in the production of agricultural products. Restoration and maintenance <br />activity shall be limited to those structures, tools, and equipment permanently kept on display on the <br />premises. Retail or wholesale sales of any product are specifically excluded. <br />NATURE FARMS: The keeping of animals and/or the growing and keeping of agricultural products for <br />the purpose of display to the public, not including the breeding and keeping of animals for boarding or <br />sale. Examples of this use would include "petting farms", or the display of unique horticulture. Retail or <br />wholesale sales of any product are specifically excluded. <br />Section 2.
