AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150 BY REPLACING
WITH PLACE OF WORSHIP
Section 1. Amendment: The 1997 Lake Elmo Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding the following definitions to Section 150.
PLACE OF WORSHIP: A building, together with its accessory buildings and uses,
where persons regularly assemble for religious worship and which building, together with
its accessory buildings and uses, is maintained and controlled by a religious body
organized to sustain public worship.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and
publication according to law.
ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo the 5"' day of
September, 2000.
