DELETING 14 AND RENUMBERING 15 AND 16 TO 14 AND 15, 500.06 SURD. 1,
AND
AMENDING SECTION 505.01 SUBD. 2 A,
Section 1. Amendment: Section 500.01 State Buildipd Code Adopted, to wit:
The Minnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 16B.59 through 16B.73, 75
one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Building Official is, by this section, adopted as the
building code for the City and is incorporated in the Code as completely as if set out in full.
Section 2. Amendment: Section 500.04 Required Chapters of the Minnesota State Building Code
The following State required chapters of the Minnesota State Building Code are hereby adopted and
administered by the City:

Section 3. Amendment 500.06 Oreanization and Enforcement
Subd. 1 Oreanization
The organization of the building department and enforcement of the code shall be as established by
Chapter 1 (one) of the Uniform Building Code. The Code shall be enforced within the incorporated
limits of the City.
Section 4. Amendment 505.01 Fees Established Subd2 A.
A. Permits, inspections and collection of fees shall be as provided in Chapter 1 (One) of the Uniforcn,
Building Code, 1997 Edition. Specific fees are set forth from time to time by resolution of the Cbty
Council.
Section 2. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and publication
according to law.
