CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 97-_,,2k <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 535.07 SUBD. 3, SUBD 3A, SUBD 3B, SUBD. <br />3C, SECTION 535.08, AND ADDING SECTION 535.07 SUBD. 3D. <br />TO THE 1997 LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />Section 1. Amendment: The following sections of the 1990 Lake Elmo Municipal Code are <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />535.07 Subd. 3. Signs Permitted in the Highway Business, Limited Business, General <br />Business, and Public/Public Facility and Business Park Zoning Districts. <br />535.07 Subd 3A. Number. One wall, freestanding, awning or canopy sign is allowed <br />per business. When a building or business abuts two or more public streets, an <br />additional sign located on each street building -face is allowed. <br />535.07 Subd. 3B. Wall Signs. <br />535.07 Subd. 3C. Freestanding Signs <br />535.08 Directory Signs. <br />Directory signs are used to guide pedestrians and/or vehicles to individual businesses <br />within a multiple tenant commercial area and are permitted. <br />Section 2. Addition. The following section is added to the 1990 Lake Elmo Municipal Code <br />and shall read as follows: <br />535.07 Subd 3D. Multi -Tenant Master Sign Program. A building Master Sign <br />Program shall be required (for multi -tenant commercial buildings) besides the individual <br />tenant and occupant signs.
