AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 505.05 SUBD 1 A and B
OF THE LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO MOVING BUILDINGS
Section 1. Amendment: Section 505.05 Subd. I A. and B. of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Subd 1. Application.
Prior to moving a building or structure which will be located or relocated within the
City, a moving permit must be obtained from the Council. The application for a moving
permit shall include the following information:
A. A performance bond in an amount set forth by the Council based on a written
recommendation of the Building Official, City Attorney and/or City Planner.
B. A certificate of insurance which indicates that the applicant has obtained liabili
coverage and property damage coverage in an amount set forth by the Council
based on a written recommendation of the Building Official, City Attorney
and/or City Planner.
Section 2. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and
publication according to law.
