CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 8148 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 301.130C. OF THE LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL <br />CODE RELATING TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES <br />Section 1. Amendment: Section 301.130C. Subdivision 4 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows; to wit: <br />R-1, RED and OP ZONING DISTRICTS: <br />Lot Size Structure Size <br />5,000 sq.ft. to 1 Acre 1200 square feet total for both attached and detached accessory <br />structures or residential garage; the size of the footprint of the detached <br />structure shall not exceed the size of the footprint of the primary <br />structure. <br />1.1 Acres to 2 Acres 1200 square feet detached residential garage or building may have an <br />attached garage. <br />2 Acres or more 1300 square feet detached residential garage or building may have an <br />attached garage. <br />RURAL RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS: <br />Lot Size (Nominal) Structure Size <br />10 Acres 2000 square feet detached building; house may have an attached <br />garage. <br />10.1 Acres to 15 Acres 2500 square feet detached building; house may have an attached <br />garage. <br />15.1 Acres to 20 Acres 3000 square feet detached building, house may have an attached <br />garage. <br />Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and publication <br />according to law. <br />ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the City Council of the C Lake Elmd1he 19th date of <br />November, 1996. �,.
