CITY OF LAKE. ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 81-27 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO <br />NO PARKING ZONES <br />The Lake Ehno City Council ordains that Section 1002.040 of the Lake Elmo City <br />Code is hereby amended; and Section 1002.050 is hereby added <br />to the Lake Elmo City Code to read as follows: <br />1002.040 Parking Prohibited: No vehicle shall be parked in a posted "No Parking" zone, <br />unless a Temporary Parking Permit has been issued by the City Administrator as provided in <br />Section 1002.050: <br />1002.050 Temporary Parking Permit. An owner who resides adjacent to a posted no <br />parking zone may obtain up to two (2) Temporary Parking Permits per calendar year for a <br />special non -business or social event (including, but not limited to weddings, birthday parties, <br />family reunions, bar mitzvahs, confirmations, first communions, fraternal gatherings, holiday <br />gatherings, etc.,) by making application to the City Administrator at least three (3) days before <br />the date of special event. A Temporary Parking Permit shall allow for parking of residential <br />passenger vehicles within a No Parking zone for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) <br />consecutive hours.
