STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3093 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO BUILDING PERMIT REVIEWS <br />The Lake Elmo City Council hereby ordains that Section <br />504.040A of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code is hereby amended; and <br />Section 504.040.A.4. and its subdivisions are hereby added to the <br />Lake Elmo Municipal Code to read as follows: <br />504.040. Site and Building Plan Review. <br />A. Except as hereinafter provided, every person, before <br />commencing construction or alteration of a structure, shall submit <br />to the Zoning Administrator the following documents and <br />information: <br />4. Exceptions. The following types of construction or <br />alteration are exempt from the site and building plan <br />review provisions of Section 504.040: <br />a. The construction or alteration of a single or <br />double family detached dwelling and buildings <br />accessory thereto. <br />b. The construction or alteration of any building <br />where the Building Inspector estimates that the <br />total cost of such construction or alteration will <br />not exceed $ 2,5.00 provided that in no event shall <br />buildings be constructed or altered in violation of <br />the Uniform Building Code or City Ordinances. <br />Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective the day <br />following its publication. <br />Adoption Date.
