CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 8086 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 212.012, 212.013 AND 212.027 <br />OF THE LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE AS IT RELATES TO THE <br />HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />AMENDMENT: The City Council ordains that Sections 212.012, <br />212.013 and 212.027 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br />212.012 COMPOSITION: The Heritage Preservation <br />Commission (H.P.C.) shall consist of five (5) members, <br />two alternate members, and shall include, if available, <br />a member of the Washington County Historical Society. <br />212.013 QUALIFICATIONS: Each commission member must be <br />a person with demonstrated interest and expertise in <br />historic preservation and must reside within the City of <br />Lake Elmo with the exception of ex-officio members. <br />212.027 POWERS: To actively promote historical <br />preservation within the City. To establish and maintain <br />liaison with civic, church, and other groups for the <br />purpose of promoting historic preservation. To promote <br />gifting of structures, or money to promote the activities <br />involved in historical preservation. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this <br />Ind day of March 1993. / <br />W n John ayor <br />ATTEST: <br />L Mary 'Kuef f64 , City Administrator <br />Published in the Stillwater Gazette Extra on the -94th day <br />of March , 1993. <br />
