STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 805d <br />AN ORDINANCE A11ENDING SECTION 1602.070A WIDTH OF DRIVEWAY IN THE <br />RESIDENTIAL ESTATES (RE) ZONING DISTRICT, AND SECTION 1602.070I <br />DISTANCE FROM DRIVEWAY TO SIDE LOT LINE IN RESIDENTIAL ESTATES ZONING <br />ORDINANCE <br />The Lake Elmo City Council hereby ordains that Sections 1602.070A and <br />1602.070I is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1602.070 A. <br />A. WIDTH: The maximum width of any driveway and curb cut shall be <br />twenty-four (24) feet, except that in the Residential Estates (RE) <br />zoning district, the maximum width at a lot line shall be twelve (12) <br />feet and the maximum width at the public street shall be eighteen (lq) <br />feet. <br />1602.070I. <br />I. DISTANCE FROM DRIVEWAYS TO SIDE LOT LINE: A driveway must be at <br />least five (5) feet from any side lot line, except that in the <br />Residential Estates (RE) zoning district, a driveway must be at least <br />ten (10) feet from any side lot line. <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be effective the day following <br />its publication. <br />ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the City <br />the 6th day of Auaust, 1991. <br />ATTEST: <br />�� <br />Mary KuefyWr, City Administrator <br />Publication Date: Published on the 25th of September 1991 <br />St. Croix Valley Press <br />
