RESIDENTIAL ESTATES (RE) ZONING DISTRICT, AND SECTION 1602.070I
DISTANCE FROM DRIVEWAY TO SIDE LOT LINE IN RESIDENTIAL ESTATES ZONING
ORDINANCE
The Lake Elmo City Council hereby ordains that Sections 1602.070A and
1602.070I is hereby amended to read as follows:
1602.070 A.
A. WIDTH: The maximum width of any driveway and curb cut shall be
twenty-four (24) feet, except that in the Residential Estates (RE)
zoning district, the maximum width at a lot line shall be twelve (12)
feet and the maximum width at the public street shall be eighteen (lq)
feet.

I. DISTANCE FROM DRIVEWAYS TO SIDE LOT LINE: A driveway must be at
least five (5) feet from any side lot line, except that in the
Residential Estates (RE) zoning district, a driveway must be at least
ten (10) feet from any side lot line.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be effective the day following
its publication.
ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the City
the 6th day of Auaust, 1991.
