Absent Abercrombie, ` Minutes of the February 6,1968 meeting read and approved. Norman and Lois Wendt made personal application to build a three car garage on their premises at 11.80 Rose Ave, Lake Elmo. They were advised that request would be considered and they would be advised. The street sign is down on Rose and North Shore Drive and the name plates missing. These are to be reordered and reinstalled. Letter from Banister Engineering recommending that we withhold any action this year on pulling the pump but that we should go ahead next year without asking for a decisions Clerk to write businessman requesting that they have the employees park off of Lake Elmo Road to open the street up to customer parking. If no corrective action is taken then a one hour parking limit will be posted and will be policed. Resolution that the tax(water assessment)±kK for the property covered on plates 15101 15111 be corrected to reflect the transfer of property (lots 14 and 15) from G A Meyer Mercantile to Eugene Siedow. Clerk to pass this information on to County Auditor Tom Greeder. Clerk to order some barricade for roadwork and chuck holes. Arrangements must be made to paint pumphouse. Discussion on the records kept by constables. Mayor Brockman to contact Sherrif's Office end attempt to get the same ledger that they use and then turn them over to the constables. Trustee Goerss would arrange to pick up the sample bottles from Twin City testing for the samples of Village water and arrange to get the water samples picked up and returned to the laboratory. After discussing with Rod Lawson it was decided. to have a special meeting on SaturdayMarch 23, 1968 10:AM to discuss the Wendt permit. The legal papers will be drawn up this week against Ray Anderson 1315 Lake Llmo Road for building without a permit. Rod Lawson still working on the annexations to the village.
