Meeting called to order by Mayor Brockman at 6:3OPM.
Present:Brookman,Ebne,Abercrombie,Goerse and Mehsikomer.
Council met with Members of the Recreation Committee and observed
first hand the boundaries of the proposed swap with Tony leitee.
The Council,made a few revisions and asked the members of the commit -
tie to make the offer in the name of the Village. Members to report
back to the council as soon as resolved.Members of the committee are
Ron Witzel, Bruce Beutel and Herb Rygg.
Norman Wendt presented signed permissions from his neighbors covering
the building permit for a 3 car garage and storage building near hid
home at 1180 Rose Ave. Clerk instructed to make out the permit with
the attachment that would allow for the removal of the building if the
property exchanged hands in any way.
Minutes of the March 5, 1968 and March 23, 1968 meetings read and appr..
Vali-Hi Saddle Club presented a pitch for,the use of the Neilsen pro-
perty for the purpose of periodic Sunday Horse. Shows.Saddle Club was
informed that a special meeting would be called for Manday April 8,
1968 at which the matter would be taken up,
Clerk instructed to write a letter to residents of Juniper Ave explain-
ing the request and suggesting that they attend the special meeting.
Trustee Abercrombie had the census maps that he would get completed
along with the questionairre and get them returned.
Mayor advised that the court hearing for Ray Anderson was set for
Wednesday April 3,. 1968 at 9:30 AM aand he would be present.
Trustee Goerss would arrange for the water sample bottles and also
Mayor Brockman would see that they were submitted within the time limit.
Council advised the fire chief •that council approved covering up to
three members of the fire department to attend and be reimbursed for
attending the fire school.
Decision made to dispose of the present warming house at skating rink.

Motion by Goeres 2nd Ebne that bills be paid Carried 5/0.
Several names were submitted for a sewer study group to be considered
as members of this committee.
Special meeting set for Saturday April 6,1968 to examine sts. and de-
termine work to be done,
Meeting adjourned at 10:20PM.
