Present:Brockman,Abercrombie,Ebne,Goerss and Mehsikomer. Minutes of the June 4 and June 18 meetings read and approved. The wage scale for removing the fence from the hockey rink is $1.35/hr. R B Abercrombie presented the following resolution: That the village exchange property with Mr., Leitte per the attached surveyor maps. In addition to the property the Village does agree to 1.Remove the quonset building and the hockey fence on that part of the land deeded to Leitte Inc. 2.To upgrade with clean dirt fill Lots 15 and 16, Block 1 as well as the triangled area from the Southeast corner of Lot 209Block 4 to the Northeast corner of Lot 16 Block 1 to the Northwest corner of Lot 15 Block 1 to the point of the beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 20 Block 4 to conform with the exis*ing grade levels at the Southeast corner of Lot 20 Block 4; to the property to the East of Lot 16 Block 1, to the Northwest 21zakxt corner of Lot 15 Block 1 and back to the point of beginning. 3.In the event the above is not completed by January 1. 1969 the Village of Lake Elmo authorizes Leitte Inc. to have the work accomp- lished and the Village of Lake Elmo will pay the costs* Rx Mayor and 2R3&zxd Clerk authorized to sign the transaction for the village. Second by trustee Ebne. Carried 5-0. Clerk instructed to write a letter to Raymond Leon Anderson requesting that he attend the meeting on August 6, 1968. Field rental for night use was set at 9$5.00 and 9$10.00 per day for Tourna- ment use. Bob Wier was instructed to dig up the service to Charles McCoy and see that it was laid properly and insulated.He was also requested to fix the shutoff service in fron t of the Elmo Inn that had been damaged by plow. Motion by Abercrombie second by Goarse that we proceed with the repair of 6th st and Kalmia ave. and. also 9th St. if petition to. repair streets and assess 9$50.00 per lot is received. Carried 5/0* Request to build a 4plex on the Ponath property,presently zoned residential was received and referred to the Planning Commission. Request to build office at the lumber yard corner of kiln approved.
