Meeting called to order. at 7:15PM by acting Mayor Ebne. Present:Ebne,Abercrombie,Goerss and Mehsikomer. 19inutes of -the July 99 1968 meeting read, and approved. LeRoy Turnbull asked the council what they would do relative to a hockey rink. He was advised that if some resposible type of supervision was given the council would stand behind the project financially but to put up facilities without some type of definite program would be a waste of the taxpayers money. Mr. Turnbull was to check and see if he could find anybody interested and to check with School District 834 officiias and see if they had a program for supervising the rink if available. Roy Lehmann was instructed to shut off the water at two locations which were over nine months in arrears an thieb water bill. Gib Swanson was on hand and. requested a special use pe4mit for the property which he had just ,purchased from Charles Ponath. Coucil voted 4->0 to have a hearing on the matter on Tuesday the 20th of August,1968 at the Village Hall at 8:OOPM. Rod Dawson would arrange for the publication of the notice.
