Meeting called to order at 7:OOPM by Mayor Brooknan.
Present:Brookman,Shervhei.m,Watson,Abercrombie & Mehsikomer.
Absent: Friedrich
Also present: Counsel Raleigh.
C. Abercrombie presented Resolution R 72-.14 authorizing purchase of 5 acres of land for
future water reservoir site at $3,000/acre. If offer not acceptable, resolution authorizes
counsel to start condemnation proceedings. Second by C. Watson and carried 4-0.
C. Friedrich absent.
C. Watson offered resolution R 72-13 to be issued to the Municipal Commission with the
request of the Village of Lake Elmo to be considered for some sections of Baytown which
border Lake Elmo on its present Eastern border, and asked for its approval. Second by
C. Abercrombie and carried 4-0.0 th C. Friedrich absent.
Meeting adjourned at 7:25PM.

Dear Mr. Mehsikomer:
As Mayor, I am hereby calling a special meeting of the Village
Council to be held at the Village Hall on Monday, May 8, 1972,
at 7:00 o'clock P. M. for the purpose of considering the follow-
ing matters:
1. Authorizing the Village Attorney to proceed
immediately with condemnation of a site for a
village water reservoir.
2. Passing .a resolution directed to the Minnesota
Municipal Commission requesting the annexation of
certain property from Baytown Township.
