related water main, stormsewer, road and trail improvements along Lake Elmo Avenue. Fie described
a process with outreach to property owners/residents about the project that would begin as soon as
the engineer was authorized to proceed with the design and specifications.
The city council asked questions and provided input on the proposed trail design.
The city council said that a trail along the lake would be nice if it could be done within the current
width of the road bed and with parking maintained on the east side of the road.
Jack Griffin said this would be presented at the resident/property owner information meeting .
The city council discussed proceeding with the design. of the project with the understanding that no
decisions would need to be made on proceeding with the construction of the project until May, 2008.
